A little clarity, before you play.
- No Apprillion account is required. Progress and preferences are stored on your device.
- RevenueCat and the app stores process purchase information to provide and restore upgrades.
- Optional rewarded ads use Google AdMob on supported platforms.
- The rule preview on this website does not save or send your moves.
1. Who we are
Apprillion (“we”, “us”) makes Wake (the “Game”). This notice explains how information is handled when you play Wake, use its purchase features, contact us, or visit these Wake pages. It covers Wake specifically; other Apprillion games may use different services.
2. Progress on your device
Wake does not require an Apprillion account. Journey progress, game preferences, earned hints, undo and restart balances, and a cache of purchase access are stored on your device. Your operating system may include app data in its backup or transfer features, depending on your settings.
Clearing app data or uninstalling may remove local progress. Store purchase records are separate from game progress. Wake does not request your contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or precise location for its puzzle gameplay.
3. Purchases and RevenueCat
Wake uses RevenueCat to check purchases and restore access. The service assigns a random App User ID; it is a pseudonymous identifier, not a promise that purchase data cannot be associated with a device or store transaction. We do not ask you to create a login or send RevenueCat your name or email through the Game.
Purchase processing involves product and transaction identifiers, store receipts or purchase tokens, purchase and entitlement status, and technical information such as the app version, device platform and operating system. This is used to validate payments, provide access, restore eligible purchases, and help diagnose purchase problems.
Apple or Google handles payment information through the store. We do not receive your full payment-card details. Learn more in RevenueCat’s privacy notice , Apple’s privacy policy , and Google’s privacy policy .
4. Optional rewarded ads
Wake supports optional rewarded videos through Google AdMob on supported platforms. You choose whether to watch an offered video for a hint or an extra undo or restart use. Availability can differ by platform and region.
The advertising SDK may process IP addresses, approximate location inferred from IP, device or advertising identifiers where available, device and app information, interactions with ads, and diagnostic information. Google uses this information for ad delivery, measurement, security and fraud prevention, and, where permitted, personalization. SDK initialization or an ad request may involve processing even if a video is not completed.
You can decline rewarded videos and manage advertising or tracking permissions through your device settings. Where a consent choice is presented, you can use those choices as well. This notice does not replace a consent request where one is required. See how Google uses information for advertising .
5. Support and technical information
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your email address, message, device details or order reference. We use it to answer your request and investigate the issue. Wake does not currently include a separate gameplay analytics service.
Purchase and advertising providers may still collect operational, interaction and diagnostic data as described above. These services are not made anonymous merely because Wake has no account system.
6. These Wake web pages
These pages do not add advertising trackers, analytics scripts, external web fonts, or a user account. The interactive rule preview runs in your browser without saving your moves or sending them to us.
The website host may receive normal request information, including IP address, browser information and requested URLs, to deliver and secure the site. External links take you to services governed by their own privacy policies.
7. Why information is used and shared
We use information to provide the Game, fulfill and restore purchases, respond to support requests, protect services from abuse, and comply with applicable obligations. Where applicable, processing may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations, or consent. You may withdraw consent for processing that relies on it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Information is shared with the service providers needed for these functions, including RevenueCat, the relevant app store, advertising providers, and website hosting. Advertising partners’ processing may count as “sharing” or targeted advertising under some laws. We do not sell lists of players or contact information.
We may disclose information where required by law or to protect legal rights. Providers may process information outside your country, including in the United States, under the safeguards applicable to their services.
8. Retention and security
Local information remains until it is removed by you, the app, or your operating system. Support correspondence and provider records are retained as needed for support, access restoration, fraud prevention, legal obligations, and dispute resolution. Deleting the Game does not automatically delete transaction records held by a store or RevenueCat.
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information, but no system is completely secure. Contact us if you believe information has been exposed or misused.
9. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, receive a copy of, restrict, or object to processing of your information, or opt out of certain advertising uses. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us using the details below to make a request; we may need information to locate and verify the relevant record.
- Local data: use your device’s app-storage controls or uninstall Wake. Check your operating system’s backup settings separately.
- Purchase records: contact us for data processed through RevenueCat, and contact Apple or Google for records those stores control. Certain transaction records may need to be retained.
- Advertising: review your device’s advertising privacy controls and any consent options offered in the app.
10. Children and guardians
If a child uses Wake, a parent or guardian should supervise purchases and review device privacy controls. We do not ask children to submit personal details through puzzle gameplay. If you believe a child has shared information with us without appropriate permission, contact us so we can investigate and address the request.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as the Game or its services change. The date above identifies the latest version. Where required, we will provide an additional notice or seek consent for a material change.
12. Contact
For support or a privacy request, email hi@apprillion.com. Include “Wake” in your message and, for a purchase issue, the store order reference if available. Do not send payment-card details or passwords.
